Bhubaneswar: With the intense heat wave sweeping most parts of Odisha, mercury soared past 40 degree Celsius mark in most of the town in the Western Odisha districts on Monday. While Angul recorded the highest temperature with of 41.3 degree, it was 41.2 degree in Sonepur.
