Balasore: A senior technical officer of Integrated Test Range(ITR) under DRDO died today in a road accident.
The deceased, Benudhar Sahoo (56) of Azimabad village under Town police station, was coming by his car from his native place in the afternoon when the accident occurred near the Haldipada flyover on NH-60.
One of the tyres of the vehicle burst, causing it to skid off the road. Sahoo sustained grievous injuries on head and chest. He was rushed the district headquarters hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Senior scientists, officers of ITR and many members of Lions’ Club visited the hospital following the accident.
