Report by Orissadiary correspondent; Bhubaneswar: The state government has issue a gazette notification on the revised pay scale of the 15,000 teachers and staffs of the 600 fully-aided and 48 non-plan high schools, 637 ME schools, Sanskrit toll and Madrasas.
Though the state government has completed all formalities for providing the revised pay to aforesaid teachers and staffs, it could not bring out a notification due to the enforcement of model code of conduct for the ensuing elections.
However, with the request of the state principal secretary of the school and mass education department, the Election Commission gave permission for a gazette notification.
