Subarnarekha, Jalaka rivers in Orissa flowing above danger mark
Balasore: Following four days of incessant rains in Balasore under the influence of a low pressure, two major rivers in the district were flowing above the danger mark, reports said. While Jalaka was flowing at a height of 5.83 metre against the danger mark of 5.5 metre, Subarnarekha was flowing at a height of 10.55 metre against the danger mark of 10.36 metre,
There is a threat of flood situation in these two rivers if there were more rains in the upper catchments.
