Orissa govt announces 8 percent increase in DA for employees
Bhubaneswar: The Orissa Government on Wednesday announced an additional eight per cent dearness allowance for its employees. It would be implemented with retrospective effect from January 1, 2010. With this increase, the DA has reached 35 per cent. The State would bear the financial burden of another Rs 400 crore to implement the DA. Earlier, the centre had increased the DA for central government employees in March this year.
