Report by OD Bureau; Bhubaneswar: Mathematics Department of KIIT University is organising a National Conference on Industrial Mathematics and Soft Computing during 26th - 27th May 2012.
Intellectuals from industries, academic institutions and R&D sectors would attend the conference to discuss diversified applications of computational and mathematical techniques in industry during the two days. "Research scholars and faculties from different IITs and NITs, IIIT, Bhubaneswar; Ravenshaw University; Jharkhand; Chennai; IMIS and across India would join the conference. Different technical sessions including parallel sessions would be on schedule.
Talks on mixed convection in a saturated porous mixed convection in a saturated porous square domain, on steady plane magnetohydrodynamic viscous fluid flow through porous media and many others would be held at the conference Dr. S. Nanda, Prof of Eminence & Research Chair, KIIT; Prof. G. Das, Former VC, Utkal University; Mr. R. N. Dash, Advisor, KIIT & KISS; Prof. B. B. Patra, Dean, School of Applied Sciences & Dr. S. K. Samal, Assoc. Dean School of Applied Sciences and convener of the conference were present in the inaugural session of the conference.
