Report by OD bureau; Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra on Wednesday dismissed reports of any split within the party. Addressing media here at Swosti Premium hotel Pyari said that Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik continues to be the party leader.

He said that "…There is no dissidence in the party. Grievances have increased because the party organisation is not looked after properly but the party is not heading for a split."Pyari Mohan also said there was no reason due to which Patnaik needed to cut his UK trip short. "Naveen Patnaik will be the leader of the party. I don't know why is he cutting down his foreign trip. He should be asked," he said.

Pyari said that there was indiscipline in the party that needed to be checked. He said that he selected 90 percent of party MLA candidate in last elections.
