Report by OD bureau; New Delhi: Suspended BJD Rajya Sabha MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra said who is Naveen Patnaik to suspend him from Biju Janata Dal. He termed Chief Minister Patnaik as traitor. He said this while addressing media at his official residence in New Delhi.

He questioned party supremo Naveen Patnaik's power to suspend him from party. He said that Naveen did nothing for party in these 12 years. He also said I will not be silent after suspension from party. He also criticized Naveen for announcing this decision at secretariat. He also said to media in future he will open all the pandora box of these people who have captured Naveen Patnaik.

In his first reaction Mohapatra said that "I am shocked but not surprised. Because one group in party has been planning for the last three months. This was after he saw my popularity in the panchayat elections and before that in the by-elections in the state assembly."

He said that the "The entire party has been built by my hard labour and this man has turned out to be traitor." He added, "There are some people around him who have captured him and now he is on the evil path." Over possible split in party he said that ".. no question of my breaking the party. The entire party has been built by my hard labour... Labour of lakhs of my workers. I have been running the party for so many years."
