Report by OD bureau, Bhubaneswar: Sofia open sand art championship will held at Bulgaria from 16th June to 23rd june. International Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik from odisha.has been selected to represent India at this championship. Ten sculptor around the World will participate in this championship.

After winning the Copenhagen sand sculpture championship, the Director of Sofia open sand art championship Mr.Plamen Zarkov send an invitation letter to participate in this championship. I am very happy after getting this invitation letter. The height of the sculpture will be 3 meters, Sudarsan said.

Recently he has won the 1st prize in the Copenhagen International sand art championship at denmark for his sulpture "Save the Ocean".

Pattnaik has participated in more than 50 international sand sculpture championships across the globe and has won many awards.
