Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said his party BJD will not form any electoral alliance with Congress and BJP in next general elections.
Addressing media here Patnaik said that, "It is June 2012 and the general election and assembly polls are about one and half years to go. But let me make it quite clear that my party BJD will have no truck with BJP. " Patnaik said BJD's ties with BJP were over on March 7, 2009, when the party MP Chandan Mitra had left Naveen Niwas before the last general election.
"As far as Congress party is concerned, you know that since the end of 1960, the 'Biju Parivar' which is now BJD ... there is no question of an alliance with them," he said. CM on coalition with left parties: Decision will be taken before election
