Report by OD bureau; Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik urges Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad to start academic session of AIIMS Bhubaneswar from August.
Naveen writes a letter to Azad over this situation. CM Patnaik said that, "You will be happy to know that the construction of the buildings of the hospital and the medical college of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar are pro;g,ressing well. I am told that you recently visited the site while in Bhubaneswar and were satisfied with the progress and have assured to start the academic session, 2012-2013 for 50 students in AIIMS, Bhubaneswar."
He requested that expeditious steps may be taken so as to start this academic session in AIIMS, Bhubaneswar from this August itself. Government of Odisha shall provide all support in this endeavour.
