Bhubaneswar: Due to low pressure heavy rain occuered in the state. The state is likely to face another round of flood as a low pressure has been formed over north-west Bay of Bengal, which bring heavy rains during the next 48 hours.
According to meteorological department sources, the state may receive heavy rainfall at many places during the next 48 hours causing floods in many rivers. Though the water level of major rivers is receding, the low pressure is likely to cause an increase in the water level leading to flood.
With strong surface wind speed reaching 40-45 kmph likely to prevail along and off the Odisha coast, fishermen have been advised to be cautious while venturing in to sea.
