Report by Saumya Parida; Bhubaneswar: The dengue death toll in the state rose to six on Tuesday following the death of senior tax official of Odisha govt. The victim dies in a private hospital. Deceased Sudhanshu Sekhar Nanda was working as deputy commissioner, commercial tax .

 It should be noted that number of dengue positive cases in Odisha jumps to over 600.  According to the Health minister Damodar Rout while Ganjam district topped the list with 270 cases, Balasore, Angul, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Khurda districts have 178, 57, 17, 13 and 10 cases respectively.
