Report by Ananta Prasad; Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today lays foundation stone of Narayana Hrudayalaya's 1000-bed health city at Dum Duma in Bhubaneswar. Bengaluru-based Narayana Hrudayalaya is coming up with a 1000-bed health city at Dum Duma at Khandagiri Square. The hospital will come up around 2 km from the AIIMS.
The hospital, spread over seven acres, would provide multi super speciality treatment. The first phase of the hospital with 250 beds is being built at a cost of Rs 80 crore. We would start construction of the hospital after the monsoons, this year. Narayana Hrudayalaya to commission the first phase by 2013. Chairman of Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, Bhubaneswar MP Prasana Patsani, MLA Ashok Panda were present on this occasion.
Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals chairman Dr Devi Prasad Shetty said the unit at Bhubaneshwar would be a world-class hospital providing tertiary level services in all aspects of health care.
