Odisha Government hiked minimum wages for daily labourers

Report by OD bureau, Bhubaneswar:  The State Government hiked minimum wages for daily labourers working in various industries in the State.

As per the State Government notification minimum wages for unskilled labourers have been fixed at Rs.150/- while wages for semi-skilled labourers have gone up to Rs. 170/-. Similarly minimum wages for skilled and highly skilled labourers have been fixed at Rs.190/- and Rs.205 respectively. The new wages will be effective after publication of the notification in the Odisha Gazette.
