Report by OD bureau, Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Sena on Thursday held a massive MOTOR rally from Master Canteen to Bhubaneswar Vigilance SP office in Bhubaneswar opposing the highhandedness of State Vigilance and Crime Branch on Odia trades, businessmen.

Sena Supremo Mr Hemant Rath alleged that since 12 years of Naveen Patnaik’s rule, Vigilance and Crime Branch officials targeting only Odia traders, businessmen, real estate establishments , mines, industrialist and others traders but  the same Department showing leniency to Non-Odia traders, businessmen and real estate units.

Mr Rath said that the Sena submitted a memorandum with Bhubaneswar Vigilance SP, which was addressed to Vigilance DG.Mr Rath said, some Odia traders, businessmen, mine owners, real estate, industrialists, mines firm, through their own efforts moving forward while Vigilance and Crime Branch dragging them into problem by citing some 15 to 20 year old cases. Mr Rath alleged that Vigilance and Crime Branch targeting some selected businessmen while some non-odia Traders, real estate firms, mines owners and businessmen earned huge money from the State, both Vigilance and Crime Branch kept mum on them.

Mr Rath alleged that both Vigilance and Crime Branch illegally arresting Odia traders while Non-Odia traders getting land in prime locations of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar in less than market price . Naveen Patnaik Government helping these non-odia traders. Kalinga Sena would launch Non-Odia oust drive in State if Government not take any step to save interest of Odias.
