This is fate of a poor family from Shamuka Patana village of Bolgarh block in Nayagarh district, which running from pillar to post to save the life of their only son. Two years back Naresh Kumar's son Om Prakash had infected with viral fever and admitted at Sishu Bhavan in Cuttack.
There he diagnosed with this dreaded disease. Since then Naresh who works as an auto rickshaw driver, left no stones unturned to save his child. Despite every possible attempts Naresh is unable to afford the highly expensive treatment to cure Om Prakash. A sole earner in his family Naresh sold all his cultivation land as well borrowed money from every one known to him. But he is struggling hard to meet the medicine expenses.
"I sold my land even my each household articles including my wife's jewelry to give my son a new life. In two years I spent all the money and now I don't have a single pie to meet the further expenses. I beg some body's help to save my child" a inconsolable Naresh told Orissa diary. Om Prakash is now under going treatment at Acharya Harihar Cancer Research Center at Cuttack.
