NIIT to offer CBSE courses via SAI School

Bhubaneswar: SAI International School has partnered with NIIT to offer integrated CBSE curriculum e-Guru. NIIT@School Learning Solution will offer holistic IT assisted education to children.

The course will range from infrastructure consultancy to facilities management, in addition to validated multi-media content mapped to the school curriculum, courseware, assessment and certification of students, officials of SAI and NIIT said here at a joint press conference.

Chairman SAI International School, Bijay Kumar Sahoo said, "Our alliance with NIIT@School is in line with the objective of delivering the best to our students. The school will integrate NIIT's computer-aided learning solution into the CBSE curriculum to help students easily access to world class IT education."

Sahoo thanked NIIT for agreeing to introduce its national level Chess Championship under NIIT Mind Campus Academy, a joint initiative with Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand.  

Explaining about E-Guru, officials of NIIT said that it is a unique teaching-learning solution, which assists the teacher in explaining difficult concepts in the most lucid fashion and enables students to learn them in an equally memorable way, will be adopted for the first time in the State by any school.  

SAI School principal Arun Prakash said that the school was on a mission to enable, encourage and challenge every student to initiate the lifelong pursuit of learning.
