Report by OD bureau; Nabarangpur: Nabarangpur MP and senior Congress leader Pradeep Majhi meets school students in Aunli Gram Panchayat. Majhi had a sudden visit on last week to JELC primary School, Aunli Gram Panchayat of Boriguma Block of this constituency.
After getting a public call from this area, he had made an immediate visit without informing the school authority about his visit to this school which is not a remote area and only just 5 Kilometer far from Nabarangpur head quarter. After visiting to JELC primary School, Aunli Gram Panchayat of Boriguma Block, he came to know that since 1995 onwards only one teacher is serving in this primary school for the whole five classes and on total 109 students are studying in this school.
He has instructed the authority concern to appoint 2 more teachers for this school after discussing with the local people and guardian of school students.
Expressing his severe anguish and disappointment, he told to our reporter that Centre UPA govt has been launching many government schemes for the student in their "Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan" and many more programs and at the same time our lethargic state dispensation is unable to discharge their duty properly.
