Paralakhemundi: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated some development projects and laid foundation-stone of an office building in Gajapati district on Tuesday
Patnaik first inaugurated a ginger juice production unit of Gram Tarang branch at the Centurion University here.
Gram Tarang and university president Prof Muktikant Mishra and Prof DN Rao were present during the inauguration of the unit. Patnaik then inaugurated 100-bed SC and ST girls’ hostel of the Tagore Memorial High School at Upalada under Gosani block.
Patnaik also inaugurated the new office of the Assistant Commercial Tax Commissioner here, a new polytechnic building and a new fire station at Bedhaguda and laid foundation-stone of a Regional Transport Office here.
Later, he attended a public meeting at the MKCG Autonomous College ground here.
Among others, agriculture minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Brahmapur MP Siddhant Mohapatra, Parlakhemundi MLA K Narayan Rao, district collector Basudev Bahinipati, ZP president P Lata and BJD district president Basant Das attended the programmes.
