Mumbai: The Tata Motors group global sales, comprising of Tata, Tata Daewoo and Hispano Carrocera range of commercial vehicles, Tata passenger vehicles along with distributed brands in India, and Jaguar and Land Rover, were 91,608 vehicles in June 2010, a growth of 46 per cent over June 2009. Cumulative sales for the fiscal (April 2010 to June 2010) are 249,322 vehicles, higher by 50 per cent compared to the corresponding period in 2009-10.
Sales of all commercial vehicles were 39,975 vehicles in June 2010, a growth of 38 per cent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 111,298 vehicles, a growth of 41 per cent.
Sales of all passenger vehicles were 51,633 vehicles in June 2010, a growth of 53 per cent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 138,024 vehicles, a growth of 58 per cent.
Tata passenger vehicle sales, including those distributed, were 31,444 vehicles for the month, a growth of 58 per cent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 80,871 vehicles, a growth of 57 per cent.
Jaguar Land Rover global sales in June 2010 were 20,189 vehicles, higher by 47 per cent. Jaguar sales for the month were 6,776 vehicles, higher by 59 per cent, while Land Rover sales were 13,413 vehicles, higher by 41 per cent. Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 57,153 vehicles, higher by 59 per cent. Cumulative sales of Jaguar are 15,455 vehicles, higher by 33 per cent, while cumulative sales of Land Rover are 41,698 vehicles, higher by 71 per cent.
