Mumbai: The board of directors of Tata AutoComp Systems (Tata AutoComp), at their meeting today, have decided to elevate RS Thakur as the managing director and chief executive officer of the company.

This comes in as recognition of his efforts in turning around and building Tata AutoComp into a strong organisation. Under the leadership of Mr Thakur, the Tata AutoComp group has not only been able to sail through the tough recessionary times, but posted consistent high growth and good profits.
