Report by OD Bureau; Bhubaneswar: Tata Sons chairman-designate Cyrus Mistry meet Odisha Chief Minsiter Naveen Patnaik today here. He was accompanied by Tata Steel's managing director H M Nerurkar and other officials of TATA Group.
CM Patnaik said during the meeting he had also told Cyrus to establish professional technical training centres in at least four districts- Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur and Keonjhar having their interests and projects. They should provide real professional training to at least 1,000 young men and women in each of the training centres to enable them to get employment. Patnaik said he had asked the representatives of the Tatas to set up a 500-bedded multi-speciality hospital in Ganjam district.
During the meeting he discussed Tata Group's investment in the state including development of Kalinganagar, industrial park project at Gopalpur, Tata Power project in Naraj and operations of software development centre of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
Mistry said during his meeting with Patnaik, he discussed his group's 'investment proposals' in Odisha. Besides Mistry and Nerurkar, Hridayeshwar Jha, vice president (Odisha projects) also met the Chief Minister.
