Dhenkanal: The State level Lok Adalat has directed the insurance companies to pay compensation worth Rs 4.53 crore to the affected parties while disposing 199 cases in civil court premises here on Saturday. At the 405 state level Lok Adalat organized by Odisha State Legal Services Authority here, High Court Justices Bimal Das and Laxmikant Mohapatra directed the insurance companies to pay the amount after settling the disputes.

According to release issued by DIPRO, District and Sessions Judge Goutam Sharma, Aadditional District Judge Aswini Kumar Mohapatra, and a bench of judges and magistrates, DRDA Project Director Jagannath Mohanty and revenue officials participated in settling of cases.
