Bhubaneswar: Odisha will have the first FDI-funded property development project in the state soon, courtesy Eden City Group. The Kolkata-based real estate company is looking for land in the capital city and its peripheral area for developing its housing project and may soon announce the launching of the new project, said Biswadeep Gupta, vice-president (Marketing) of Eden City Group here while introducing company’s ongoing housing project ‘Eden City Maheshtala’ in Kolkata to the aspiring customers of Odisha.
The first phase of the housing project has already been sold out while booking is open for Phase-II which will have 13 towers housing around 500 flats. Priced between Rs 24 lakh and Rs 45 lakh, the flats would be handed over to the customers by December 2014, said Gupta.
Executives of Eden City Group are stationed at its home loan partner HDFC’s office in Bhubaneswar till August 5th to assist anyone who will be interested to know more about the project or buy the property at ‘Eden City Maheshtala’ in Kolkata.
Eden City group also announced launching of its unique EMPOWER scheme through which a customer can book a flat in ‘Eden City Maheshtala’ by paying just 20 per cent of the cost of the building and pay the balance EMI only after taking possession of the property.
‘Eden City Maheshtala’, the Rs 500-core project spread over 22 acres, is funded by UK-based F&C REIT Asset Management company. It consists of G+7 and C+15 residential towers having 3 sides open spacious apartments and 78 per cent open space.
