Bhubaneswar: Allahabad Bank, country’s premier nationalised bank, inaugurated its Central Processing Hub (II) at Nayapalli in the city here today to make the process of account opening more fast and responsive to its customers.
The CPH-II is a dedicated and centralised hub to offer personalised services to its customers in the areas of Saving Bank account opening, issuance of passbooks, personalised cheque books, ATM cards, Internet Banking etc.
Inaugurating the Hub, the Zonal Head and Deputy General Manager, Parthadeb Datta said that the CPH-II is no less than an achievement for the Zone as it not only will go a long way in improving the quality and promptness of services to the Bank’s valued customers, but will also reduce the workload of the branches which in turn will enable them to focus on core areas of business development.
Also present on this occasion were AGM MP Murugan, AGM Shrinivas, AGM PL Khuntia and senior manager PK Swain.
Datta expressed his pleasure about the confidence and special honour reposed by the corporate office on the Bhubaneswar Zone to set up the CPH-II to not only cater to the needs of Bhubaneswar zone but also many other nearby zones like Bihar, Jharkhand, entire North east states and Asansole zone of West Bengal state etc.
