Report by OD bureau; Paradeep: Hindi week celebration was organized by IFFCO’s Paradeep unit from 14-20 September in factory premises. Mr S.K. Gandhi,  Senior General Manager & Unit Head,  IFFCO inaugurated the camp on 14.09.2012 by lighting of  Lamp. Speaking on this occasion Sri Gandhi stressed importance of learning Hindi as it is accorded as official language of the country and lauded every one should take care to familiar with this language. He appealed all to use more & more Hindi in their day to day official works.

During week long programme essay, poem, debate, slogan and art of Hindi writing competitions  were organized in which a total of 212 numbers of employees, children and ladies actively participated . 

Rajbhasa committee chairman  Mr K. Shantha Kumar spoke about the importance of Official Language Hindi.  Secretary,  Mr SR Maurya high lighted about the week long programme in which a large numbers of  ladies, children  &  employees have actively participated in all competitions. The week long Hindi Week Celebration was concluded on 20.09.2012 in which Sri SK Gandhi, Unit Head of IFFCO distributed prizes to 49 nos. of winners of various competitions. While speaking on the occasion Sri Gandhi highly appreciated the winners of competitions and congratulated them. He further expressed “IFFCO is not confined not only to production of fertilizer alone, we are also spreading Hindi in the National interest. I am happy to learn  that use of Hindi in IFFCO is so much that, it is not felt that we live in Odisha- it is a mini India”.

At the end  Col. Sudarshan Mishra, vice chairman of Rajbhasha Samiti   extended vote of thanks to all. Among others Sri AK Sinha, Sr. GM (Maintenance), along with all Sr. Officers of  IFFCO Unit were also present. B K Sahoo, Manager Public Relation of IFFCO coordinated this week long programme.
