Report by OD bureau, Bhubaneswar: As a part of CSR activities IFFCO  Paradeep Unit distributed Mosquito nets to the inmates of  Kendrapada Sub Jail.

A programme was arranged in the Dist. Sub Jail premises on 06th October 12 , wherein the Collector Sri Durga Prasad Behera, IAS, SP. Dr. Sarthak Sadangi, IPS, along with Hon’ble Dist. Judge Sri Radha Krushna Patanaik  distributed Mosquito nets to all the inmates of  Kendrapara the Sub Jail.  For prevention of Dengue & Malaria in the Jail premises the Collector has requested IFFCO to provide Mosquito Nets for the well being of prisoners of the Jail. IFFCO Paradeep Unit had provided 200 nos. of  Mosquito Nets out of their CSR initiative in the dist. of Kendrapara.  

It may also be noted that IFFCO Paradeep  Unit has recently won " KALINGA CSR  AWARD 2011"  for its outreach and exemplary work undertaken  in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility activities in Odisha. This Award was  received on 14.09.2012 by Sri S.K. Gandhi, Sr. General Manager & Unit Head of IFFCO Paradeep Unit, from His Exellency Hon'ble Governor of Odisha Shri Muralidhar Chandrakanta Bhandare in a glittering ceremony held  in Hotel New Marion,  Bhubaneswar.

Dr Pratap Kumar Mishra, Sub Collector, Kendrapara and DIPRO also present on the occasion. Sri B.K. Sahoo, Manager (Admn.) present on the occasion thanked the Collector, SP & District Judge for their active support to make this programme a grand success.

Sri Sahoo also told that IFFCO is largely committed in CSR activities.  The distribution of mosquito nets to the jail inmates was a long felt and it will definitely help them to lead a  healthy lives as it will prevent occurrence of malaria & dengue in the Jail premises.
