Report by OD bureau, Bhubaneswar: IFFCO  Paradeep Unit has been awarded the prestigious "KRUSHAKBANDHU  Award 2012 " by the Renowned Farmers Organisation of Odisha  "ODISHA KRUSHAK  SAMAJA ".

IFFCO Paradeep  Unit has won " KRUSHAKBANDHU  Award 2012"  for its outreach and exemplary services rendered  to the farming communities in Odisha.

This Award was received on 16.10.12 by Sri Sunil Kumar Gandhi, Sr. General Manager & Unit Head of IFFCO Paradeep Unit, from His Excellency Hon'ble Governor of Assam Sj. Janaki Ballav Pattanaik,  in a glittering ceremony held  in the premises of "ODISHA KRUSHAK  SAMAJA " in Bhubaneswar.

Among others present were Sri Sahadev Sahu, IAS (Retd. Former Chief Secretary) , Mr P. C. Mohanty, President Odisha Krushak Samaj, Dr P. Jay Shankar, Director CIFA, Bhubaneswar.

This Award has been instituted by the Renowned  "ODISHA KRUSHAK  SAMAJA " the Apex body of  farming community of  Odisha.

After receiving this Prestigious Award, Sri SK Gandhi, Sr. General Manager of IFFCO, Paradeep Unit told that this Prestigious Award  is the recognition to the dedicated team of IFFCO, Paradeep Unit.  He further stated that  Paradeep Unit of IFFCO  is committed for overall services in the interest of farmers in the state.

It  may be stated that IFFCO Paradeep Unit also recently  won "KALINGA CSR  Award - 2011" by the Renowned  "ODISHA STATE SAFETY CONCLAVE 2012 " of Odisha in the last September 2012.
