Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur: Police claimed to have successfully nabbed two accused persons involved in the garment shop bomb hurling incident occurred here on 24 July, the alleged persons picked up from Keonjhar and police recovered one mouser and two live cartridge and a bike likely used for the crime under their possession and brought them to Jagatsinghpur on Tuesday after interrogation both presented in court and after rejection of their bail pleas sent to jail on Wednesday.
The duo identified as Salura Ojha a dreaded criminal from Biridi area and his accomplice Kasib Sahoo a criminal antecedent man from Keonjhar. After the victim garment owner’s complaint a police team led by Rabindra Jena SDPO, inspector Jyoti Samantray, Habildar Alla Uddin Khan through mobile tracking reached in Keonjhar on Tuesday wee hours and found both the alleged accused persons were hiding in house locates near to bus stand.
After the tip-off police performed the legal obligations and brought them to Jagatsinghpur for investigation and presented duo in court on Wednesday evening after their bail pleas rejected forwarded to local sub jail for judicial remand. Meanwhile traders from Sanabazar area here have decided to observe one day Bandha on Friday protesting the bomb hurling incident and expressed displeasure over growing crime threaten in town.
