Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: Kissan- Nagar police on Friday recovered a dead body sustaining multiple injuries in deserted caesarean forest area locate surrounding to Mahanadi river bastion at jahanapur village.  The deceased middle aged man recognized from a minority community named as Taher Ali hailing from Sirlo Nabagram village nearer to Raghunathpur block.

Taher had absconded from home from Thursday night surprisingly few pedestrians those were passing the forest area found a dead body was lying under a caesarean tree and informed villagers. Police rushed to spot and recovered the dead body from spot along with deceased’s mobile phone, torch, napkin and underwear and sent the dead body for postmortem.

A scientific team and sniffer dog had pressed in to police investigation but did not yielded any success to nab the culprits later police registered an unnatural death case in kissan-Nagar police station and investigation is on, police said. While sources added the incident has created tension in the region while minority community people described Taher fell under prey of few people coming under majority neighborhood and demanded proper investigation.
