Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur: The ongoing political crisis in BJD and subsequently suspension of Rajya Sabha member Pyari Mohan Mohapatra from party has been created cheers among the BJD supporters in Paradep, Kujanga and Balikuda areas and several places of Jagatsinghpur district on Friday.

Report said that party sympathizers had burnt effigies of Pyari Mohan Mohapatra in different places while in Paradeep BJD backers had set ablaze effigy of senior MLA and party district president Bishnu Das after the news revealed party supremo Naveen Pattnaik suspended Pyari Mohan and initiated disciplinary action against two ministers and two MLAs those had joined hand with Pyari Mohan deposing chief minister Naveen Pattnaik.

In Paradeep hundreds of BJD workers led by Paradeep municipality chairman and vice chairman Manjulata Jena and Basant Biswal converged at Badapadia and burnt effigies of Pyari Mohan and MLA Bishnu Das, and congratulated chief minister taking fair action suspending Pyari Mohan from party and demanded to take similar action against MLA Bishnu Das who is recognized as strong supporter of Pyari Mohan. The enthusiasts BJD people busted crackers and distributed sweets among them.  

While similar celebration had witnessed at Kujanga headquarters on Friday evening after knowing chief minister Naveen Patnaik took action against Pyarimohan and other conspirator two ministers and two MLAs, party supporters gathered in front of Biju Patnaik statue locates at Kujanga Bazar set ablaze effigy of Pyarimohan after garlanding shoes and sought slogan against the people those had made plan ousting Naveen Patnaik during his absence in state headquarters.

However in Balikuda area BJD supporters have expressed happiness after the news spread Pyari Mohan suspended from party on Friday night, BJD fans led by block BJD leader Raghu Nandan Das held a road side meeting at Balikuda Bazar and burnt effigy of Pyarimohan.

Moreover the incident overthrowing Pyarimohan from party fold has stunned BJD followers in Jagatsinghpur, Biridi, Naugaon, Raghunathpur and Tirtol areas, coming under Jagatsinghpur and Tirtol assembly constituencies BJD supporters are tightlipped speaking opinion over the incident,  while sources said that MLAs as Bishnu Das and Ravi Bhoi are representing both the constituencies and were strong supporter of Pyarimohan and allegedly had taken part in the Pyarimohan sponsored meeting held in his residence at Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, as consequence  party supporters were in unwieldy situation how to comment the incident, however a district senior party leader without naming quipped the action against Pyarimohan would develop more internal squabble inside BJD in coming days and party’s prosperity will reduce in next general election 2014.
