Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: A minority family who had been occupied a piece of government land in Sainpur village four km away from here past few years finally evicted from the land on Saturday.
Civil administration armed with police and magistrate on Saturday afternoon razed the alleged house while the victim family did not protest the incident as he was legally directed evicting the land few months ago.
Report said that one Sk Abdul allegedly a Bangladeshi migrant had captured a piece of government land in Sainpur village and had erected house in a predominately Hindu locality but after passing of years his staying in village had brought trouble to majority people as consequence they had approached district administration seeking his eviction from village.
Acting on the complaint revenue department had directed the unauthorized occupant Abdul evicting the land but he did not pay any heed on the instruction as consequence angry local people resorted agitation and two days ago resorted Road blockade at Sainpur Chhak on Jagatsinghpur- Paradeep road, responding the public outcry administration officials took prompt measure and launched eviction drive on Saturday, informed Gobardhan Sethy, Tahasildar Jagatsinghpur Tahasil office.
