Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: At least 3 computers including few office apparatus were robbed from Kalinga Gramya Bank , Tarikunda branch on Friday night while the miscreants broke the strong room but unable taking money from cash box, according to FIR lodged at police station.

Report said that on Saturday wee hours locals found that the bank which locates at Tarikunda bazaar outskirts discovered open and its front site grill had broken then they called the bank staff. Immediately police rushed to spot and entered the bank premises and found the strong room grill had too broken, cash room had ransacked and the cash box remained intact, on verification it found no cash had stolen from the cash box and miscreants had taken away three computers, calculators and few office apparatus.

Branch manger lodged an FIR in Jagatsinghpur police station on Saturday afternoon and police have started investigation to nab the burglars, it is informative the bank stands in a deserted location, bank did not deploy any night watch man during night as consequence the burglars have taken several attempts to rob the bank, past two years they have taken three attempts but were unable taking cash, report said.
