Report by Basant Rath; Nabarangpur: Like every Monday the grievance of Nabarangpur held at the chamber of the District Collector Over 300 people from various parts of the district submitted their complaints and grievances to the Collector during the grievance cell programme held at the Collectorate on Monday.
While hearing the petitions related to various issues Collector instantly disposing the cases on spot and asking for a report to the concern officer on the implementation.
Ms.Yamini Sarangi, was holding grievance cell of common citizens at collector’s office on every Monday and Saturday. Any citizen can file his or her grievance petition personally to the Collector at the Collectorate. Collector Ms.Sarangi, minutely listens total grievances and takes appropriate steps with necessary follow-up for their redressal. The complaints and grievances are segregated department wise and were forwarded to the department concerned. All the petitions were being sent to the concerned officials and asked they must do the necessary follow-up to address the grievance at the earliest.
Speaking to this reporter Collector Ms.Sarangi said that many cases coming her notice relating to teachers and doctors shortage, IAY, Mo Kudia housing, house sites, pensions, financial support, self-employment and problems related to the physically-challenged, medical assistance, land disputes, family problems and civil supplies including ration cards and other villages related grievances.
