Report by Manoranjan Routray, Koraput: As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a tri-weekly Jagdalpur-Durg Express, Railway has introduced a new tri-weekly express train No.18212 Jagadalpur- Durg and No.18211 Durg-Jagadalpur today.
On the inaugural run, Chief Minister of Chhattishgarh Raman Singh flagged off of tri-weekly Jagdalpur-Durg Express at Jagadalpur Railway station on 10th October in presence of Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Charandas Mahant .
The Durg-Jagdalpur tri-weekly express (No.18211) will leave Durg Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3.15 p.m. and will reach Jagdalpur Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays at 6.45 a.m. The Jagdalpur-Durg tri-weekly express (No.18212) will leave Jagdalpur Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays at 12.30 p.m. and will reach Durg Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays at 05.05 a.m.
The train have one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, Four Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in it’s composition having stoppages at Jeypore, Koraput, Rayagada, Muniguda, Ambodala, Rupra Road, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Nawapara Road, Khariar Road, Mahasamund and Raipur between Jagadalpur and Durg.
