Report by Orissa Diary correspondent; Bhubaneswar: ETV Odia is going to start the Singing Reality Show "Amari Swara". The Auditions for the same will start from 28th May onwards in 15 cities of Odisha.
 
“Music is the universal language of mankind. It is the soul of language. It is the art of thinking with sounds. It is truly said- Music is love in search of a word. Words make you think a thought. Music makes you feel a feeling. A song makes you feel a thought’’.

The relation of people and music is vise-versa. Especially in Orissa it can be said - the people of Orissa are devotee of music. In every corner of Orissa one can feel the beats of music may it be folk, modern or traditional. Apart from Hindi music, Orissa stands at top in production of album songs, which comprise non-filmy songs with a local flavor. In Orissa album songs are commonly known as devotional songs, and modern songs.

With the success of season -1&2, now ETV- Odia is going to start its search for the singing icon of Odisha  Amari Swara -season 3. This is a Statewide Contest, Searching for the most -suitable, talented singing icon of Odisha. This is a programme where new talents of Odisha are given a platform to show their talent in singing competition. This will be a competition among young upcoming singers.

Mr.Premanand –Music Director, Ms.Tapu Mishra- Singer & Mr.Arun Mantri-Lyrisist.
