Report by Suchismita Sahoo; Bhubaneswar: Odisha's Nila Madhab Panda set to enthrall audience in all over world with his new film 'Jal bin Jalpari' (Desert Mermaid). After the success of his debut feature film I Am Kalam, Panda started his work on his new film Jal Bin Jalpari. Report says the shooting work of this film already finished. The film will go on the floors in the 2nd week of November, 2012.
Film Jal Bin Jalpari is based female infanticide.. The film revolves around the life of a 12 year-old-girl . The film will tackle issues like increasing water scarcity and the skewed child sex ratio through the children's viewpoint. The cast of the film comprises of Parvin Dabas, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Suhasini Mulay, VM Badola, Rahul Singh and Harsh Mayar of I Am Kalam.
The film shot in various locations in north India, including Haryana and Delhi. The is being produced by Sushil Aggarwal of Ultra Distributors Pvt Ltd. Madhab has roped in Midival Punditz for the title track, which has been sung by Shubha Mudgal.
