Report by Ashok Palit; Bhubaneswar: Noted Odia singers Dr.Adyasha Das, Suraj Patnaik enthralled audience in different USA cities. These two gifted singers have been touring several parts of USA since June, performing in musical concerts.
 
This tour aptly named as "Sur Samaaroh" has been organized at the Hindu temple, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Atlanta, Huntsville and Detroit. Mr.Premshankar Dash on the table and Mr.Ajay kumar Dash on the harmonium have provided accompaniment.
 
The duo were star performers at the 43rd OSA convention held at Seattle and enthralled the audience with their wide repertoire of Bhaav geet, Ghazals, Odia bhajan, light ckassical etc.
 
The group will be performing at Lansing, Chicago, Nebraska, Arkansas etc. The concert will wind up in the first week of August.

Dr.Adyasha Das is one of the noted singers of Odisha who has carved a niche for herself in the world of Odia music. Noted for her mellifluous rendition, her repertoire includes  Geet, Ghazal , Sugam Sangeet, devotional etc.
 
Suraj Patnaik, a gifted singer and with an amazing voice, born and raised in Chicago, is trained in Hindustani Classical Music and  received training in Geet Govind by Padmashree recipient Suramani Pundit Raghunath Panigrahy.
