A bio-tech engineer Swapna, who is playing the lead role in an Indo-European film by Imroj Hossain, Basically a warm hearted diva, Swapna is very affectionate by nature and strongly feels for the poor and downtrodden. It was at a modelling show in Kolkata that she was spotted by director Imroj Hossain.

At present, Swapna is busy learning the nuances of acting, apart from driving, swimming and dancing for the film. Swapna's father Rakhal Chandra Pati, is an employee of Rourkela Steel Plant and mother is a housewife. She has lofty dreams to make it big in the world of films and the journey has already take   a turn , Swapna Pati happens to be a hot model who hails from Odisha and has been making waves in Tollywood now.

Now, news is that this pretty girl is being approached by the Telugu film makers who want to cast her in their movies. For now she has signed a Bengali film. Swapna wants to juggle films and ramp walk. “I would like to donate a major chunk of my pay packet to social causes,” she told to OD .
