Bhubaneswar: An 11-day-long 27th Bhubaneswar Book Fair (BBF) was inaugurated here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, BBF general secretary Barendra krushna Dhal said that around 400 book stalls are opened in the fair. He said the BBBF has inspired reading habit among the people that tempted the publishing industry to publish more books. Litterateur Chandra Sekhar Rath said the BBF enjoins readers and writers and the writers should come out with qualitative books as per the demand of the readers.
BBF president Satakadi Hota presidedd over the function. Asutosh Parida was conferred with the Sachi Routray Kabita Samman and Bhupen Mohapatra was felicitated with the Bijay Krushna Mohanty Galpa Samman. Laxmipriya Acharya, Narayan Pruseth, Sudarshan Acharya and Asutosh Prasad Nayak were also honoured.
