New Delhi: Utkal Dhara the souvenir of Orissa Sanskrutika Parishad, JNU was released on Friday evening at Jawaharlal Nehru University campus. It was released by Tourism Secretary Ashok kumar Mishra ( IAS) Govt. of India.

It should be noted that Utkal Dhara is a magazine, designed to represent the vibes, aspirations and minds of Oriya at JNU.

The magazine release function also marked the welcome ceremony for fresher, who have joined current academic year in different programs at JNU. Netaji Abhrandan introduced the guests and represents the guests and speaks to the audience.

Shakti Prasad Srichandan the editor of the Magazine dedicated the inaugural issue in the fond memory of Professor Shri Shantosh kumar sahoo. Ashok kumar Mishra, IAS the secretary Dept of Tourism Govt. of India was the Chief Guest. Professor Biswaranjan was the chief speaker and Prof Ajit kumar Mohanty was the chief moderator and convener of the Programme. The speech was followed by cultural programs including odissi and Sambalpuri dance numbers.
