Report by Bhaskar Chandra Pradhan; Bhubaneswar:  To create a platform for the development of youth a two day State level consultation on Revisiting Draft State policy and preparation of 5 years Action Plan for the development youth in Odisha organized at Cysd campus in Bhubaneswar. It was organsied with a joint collaboration of Department of sports and youth services, Government of Odisha, RGNIYD a National APEX Organization.

Govt of India and State level Voluntary Organization Named Centre for youth and social development (CYSD) organized at Cysd campus.  The consultation meets for  to build an Inventory of ideas and Inputs from cross section of people for the further deliberation  and dialogue before a comprehensive Draft  State Youth policy along with  a 5 Years action plan for the development6 of Odisha ‘s Youth is finalized.

The experts focused on to achieve  positive outcomes in the areas  of education, Employment, Health and citizenship and poverty eradication involving the agency of youths and holistic approach to youth development is the need of hour. In this consultation former director of Common Wealth Youth programme Dr. D. Agochiya gave input on frame work.   Shri Swasta Mishra , Vice Chairman State Youth welfare Board and Commissioner cum secretary Sports and Youth services, Govt. Of Odisha, Dr. Almos Ali, , Former State information commissioner Prof. Radha Mohan,  Prof. P. Mikel, Director of Rajiv Gandhi national institute for Youth development, Dr. Namita Panda, Sima Sabnam, Ashok Dash and Other participated. 

The welcome address covered by Prof. Anup Ku. Dash Member secretary, introductory speech regarding the consultation covered by Praffula Sahoo chairman of the esteemed organization. Lastly Rabindra Mohanty proposed a warm vote of thanks to all.
