Report by OD bureau, Bhubaneswar: Prof. (Dr.) Kumar B. Das, Vice Chancellor, F.M.University was felicitated by Mahendra Institute of Management and Technical Studies (MIMTS) for his exemplanary contribution to quality improvement in higher education. Citation was read and memento was presented to him by the Advisor, Prof. (Dr.) Swarup Ch. Sahoo of MIMTS. Felicitation was performed on the occasion of Inaugural Ceremony of PGDM Orientation Program 2012 at the Institute’s premises at Pitapalli square, Khurda. The Function was presided over by Dr. Subash C.Kumar, the President, MIMTS.

Mahendra Institute of Management & Technical Studies was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of MKJ Memorial Trust to perpetuate the memory of a visionary, Late Mahendra Kumar Jena. Ours is one of the leading B-Schools in the State of Odisha imparting teaching in Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) a two years management programme, duly approved by the Government of Odisha and All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. Besides, our institute also offers two more need based full time Post Graduate Courses viz.MFC & PMIR recognized by the Govt. of Odisha and affiliated to Utkal University.

On this occasion, Mr. Narahari Sethi, Vice President, Axis Bank, Odisha was the guest of honour. Among others, Prof. K. B. Das, HOD Commerce and Coordinator MFC, Utkal University, Prof. Swarup C. Sahoo, Advisor, Prof. A.K.Roy, Director, Prof. Abhijit Dutta and Mr. Dillip Kumar Jena, secretary, MIMTS were present and vote of thanks was given by the secretary.
