Dhool Ke Phool' is an initiative which was long conceived in the year 2009 during the process of our intervention in slum areas. The idea is to develop a structured initiative for children and youth coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Thereby creating a platform for them to showcase their talent, honing their skills in the process with professional training and guidance provided by experts.

YDF chief Gobinda Dalai said that,  "Dhool Ke Phool is committed to identifying, promoting and motivating the talents hidden in children residing in the slums, by providing them with adequate training from the experts in their area of competency."

Dalei informed that, "There will be 2 categories and 4 groups: Singing (Junior and Senior) and Dancing (Junior and Senior) in Season 1 in February. For November 24th (2nd Day of Enterprise Odisha Meet), One Audition will commence for junior group (6-13yrs) covering the residents of all slums in Bhubaneswar."

He further added that, "Followed by 1 city-wide Selection Round among all the participants chosen from the initial auditions. Top 10 participants in each category chosen in the selection round will go through one performance round out of which 12 finalists will be identified (6 in each category). Grand Finale will be held on 24th November, 2012, with the 12 finalists at Enterprise Odisha, organised by CII, Odisha."

"Eminent citizens, singers, dancers, creative artists, Ollywood cinestars have come together to support the cause and their response is really overwhelming and encouraging to walk that extra mile", Mr Dalai added.
