Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: A woman lecturer from autonomous SVM College here committed suicide on Friday night by consuming deadly pesticide. The deceased teaching professional had been identified as Sakuntala Swain and was working as an Odia faculty in SVM College. Police seized the dead body and conducted post mortem and registered an unnatural death case in Jagatsinghpur police station. Students and teaching and non teaching staff of SVM College have condoled untimely death of Sakuntala Swain, sources added her husband Bata Krushna Swain too works as an Odia lecturer in SVM College, the college was remained close on Saturday paying tribute to the late Odia lecturer and condolence meeting was held in college premises.
