Report by Biswaranjan Dash; Bangalore: In an shocking incident a 24 year old daily wage worker from Odisha succumbed to injuries after a half constructed compound wall of a school fall he him in Akshayanagar near Hulimavu on Monday evening. The deceased Netho, was standing under the wall of St.Ann School when the tragedy occurred at about 4pm.
According to the police, the dilapidated wall fell down due to heavy rain. Sources say “Netho sustained head injuries and rib injuries as stones from the wall fell on him.He was working in the school for plumbing work and was staying near the site”.
The body has been kept in NIMHANS freezer.”We are waiting for their family to arrive but we don’t have any details about them,” police said.
