Report by OrissaDiary.com bureau; New Delhi: Odias in Indian Air Force has celebrated 76th Utkal Diwas at Subroto Park, New Delhi. Under the banner of Odia Association, the  Utkal Diwas celebration was a grand success this year as all the Odia families staying at Subroto Park join hands together to celebrate together the Odisha Day.

The grand cultural evening was kicked off with the chanting of chourus ‘Vande Utkal Janani’ followed by Odishi dance, Sambalpuri group dance and some western dance. The young kids display their hidden talents by taking part in various form of dance and music shows.

The association lead by Mr Srinivas Dash, supported by Mr PK Nayak, Mr HK Behera, Mr Sumant Harichandan, Mr R Indrajit, Mr M Patel, Mr CM Sahool and others active members keep the Odia culture and tradition alive by organizing most Odia traditional festivals through out the year.
