It was the first of such multi-cultural programme in Victoria focussing on rich Odia heritage in the form of dance, music  with an  intention of sharing and building cross cultural environment and good will to Australia.

Overall Gunjan was the first ever a program of its kind not only entertained a multicultural audience but did showcase the known & unknown richness of Odisha, the land of exquisite temples, elegant dance forms & colourful handicrafts. The program did leave very good memories amongst all other communities who highly appreciated the unity and the effort by the tighly knitted Odia community. The organisers believe  this is a small step for a greater cause and would  allows our children, the new generation to get glimpse of their origin directly or indirectly and we feel connected as a family.
