Bhubaneswar (Orissa): Recognising the rare contributions of Principal of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Dr KC Satpathy to set a benchmark in academic excellence and his nation-building innovative initiatives, the HRD ministry has nominated him to the governing Body of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
CBSE chairman Vineeth Joshi has communicated that Dr Satpathy will have a tenure of three years in this apex educational body, where he can offer his contributions using his 29-year rich experience in the field of education as a teacher and an administrator.
Satpathy has already been conferred with many prestigious awards like National Award to Teacher, Mahatma Hansraj Award, Rajeev Gandhi Sadbhavana Award, Siksha Jyoti and Siksha Chakra.
As a member of the syllabus committee and member of the general body of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, he has not only extended his contributions but published many books. Under his dynamic leadership, the staff and students of DAV School have won many national and international awards.
